Kitchen scraps....

Do I need to chop up my kitchen scraps, especially the veggies and such, or no?

I don't that just gives them something to do peck everything apart.

I chop up tough veggies like broccoli stems and I cut apples in half. Otherwise, most scraps go out "as is".

i don't even bother chopping up apples

the only thing that mine seem to have a bit of trouble with is large thick leaves, like cabbage, because it's difficult for them to tear apart.
