Kitten got my chick!

I was loving on one of my baby chicks. And out of nowhere my kitten came. She jumped and got ahold of the back of the neck. S/he now has a bump on that spot. I cleaned it right away and put antibacterial ointment on it. What else can or should I do for it? They are about 2.5-3 weeks old. I will add a pic once I can get it.

Cats have really dirty mouths so bacteria can cause and abscess. The little bird could possibly die from infection.
Definitely clean it and try to keep the wound draining..

The bump seems to have gone down drastically since yesterday. I have been keeping it clean and antibacterial on it. S/he seems to be doing well and normal. I will just keep watching thanks!
