I use a dremel tool on the nails. I admit I am a nail freak. Hers are LONG right now!! When I am actively showing I don't like to see the nails out from under the hair on the feet if I can help it. Dogs not actively showing I will let get a tad longer, but if I can hear them on the floor when they walk they are TOOOO long.

Actually the German dogs are not bigger. They tend to be more to the medium size and athletic since they have to pass a working test and go over a 1 meter jump to qualify for breeding. This puppy is not German. She has a couple of German dogs, but they are pretty far back in her pedigree. At this time she is about 85 lbs. She may be close to 90 or 92 at full maturity, but she won't be a huge girl.

She's still gorgeous. Thanks for the new pictures. BTW, what Dremel attachment do you use for the nails? I need to do my dog's nails and I hate using the cutters.
