Hi Again, ill tell you a bit about myself! I live in Australia ,state- Victoria ,area- Wallacedale 3303. have small property and love my chookies. My husband doesn't understand my obsession, he says if I worked out how much you spent on those chooks the eggs would cost $50 a dozen. I just laugh at him and say worth every penny! my chooks are locked in big cage at night with lots of amenities. first thing they get let out and free range all day. so for they happiness I'm willing the put a lot of my time into taking care of the. in return they give me beautiful rich yellow yolks, well form Albion, witch I proceed to eat every morning for breaky. I have 16 girls at moment 2 rosters. mix of austrolps, Sussex, bantams, aracunas, bright white, Isa browns and 1 Indian runner duck(that is madly in love with my by white rooster). also I've got 2 road island red chick and 6 more austrolps in the broader, unsexed. I love collecting a pair of hens, not really into breading but cost effective way to get new hens. does anyone know I feel?

I think everyone on here knows how you feel - did you know we have many, many aussies on BYC. One thread is called "Six states and one funny little Island," others hang out on the EMU threads. Glad you joined our flock
