This is one of those "pull up and turn on your lights for service" places. The waitstaff come right out to the car! The food is really good too. It's great for when we are traveling with the dog. Last summer, we were eating when this convertible pulled up. I looked over and there were two ladies, and one of them had a banty rooster on her lap! Evidently he likes going for rides.

This was when I was toying with the idea of getting chickens and may have been a leading factor tipping me in a chickenward direction!

Not only is it fun for families, but I used to work with Pro Wrestlers. We'd take them there and they'd be complaining as soon as we hit the parking lot. Next time in town, that's where they wanted to go. LOL

Deb1, before Cook Out there was Char-Grill in Raleigh. The first one I ate at, back when I was a teen in the '80s, was the one on Hillsborough St.

Hot Dog Heaven in Woodstock, GA. Great fries, good burgers and dogs, and the BEST reuben in the WORLD.
