hi all,

this seemed like the most appropriate place to post this, let me know if there is a better spot,

does any one know of any really good children's books that are chicken related? i'm thinking of fiction, preferably illustrated.

my chickens have inspired me to write a story and i want to see what the competition looks like and whether there might be a market for it before i put too many resources into this project.

thanks so much.

I found a book one day. It's called I had a rooster. There's some nursery rhyme from long ago, book is just pics and the song.

I had a rooster, and the rooster pleased me, I fed my rooster on the green berry tree. The rooster went cock-a-doodle-do, de-doodle-de-doodle-de-doo.
then it adds different animals, like duck. then, the duck went quack, the rooster went, cock-a-doodle-do, de-doodle...

Here's the latest "books for kids about chickens" thread.
