Know the breed/Cochin - but what color is this???

My friend has large fowl Cochins and has Buffs and Blues - that go back to some blacks - but really no other colors. He has hatched this little guy who started out all white/cream- started to show black and now looks like this - cream head - greyish/blackish body. Any ideas on what color this will be and where it came from? I will include the pic of the rooster - mom is a blue. pics arent the greatest as he was having a "bugfest" in the grasses

He's colored like a Salmon Faverolle. I believe the coloration is called wheaten???

He looks mixed color... Buff and black. If i remember correctly in the cochin world you need to breed same color to same color or they end up "mixed' color.

He's a cutie tho

Oh I love baby cochin roos! They are so flipping cute. Maybe he'll feather out like a brown red? Or could just be an anomaly from previous color-crossing that just decided to show itself.
