Knowing If An Egg Is Fertile Or Not?

Hi I was wondering if when you candle an egg when you first collect it will you see the bullseye through the shell?

Nope. There's no way to tell for sure if an egg is fertile unless you open it up.

So I will just have to take the chance and incubate it then candle it an look for the heart?

If you're just collecting them from your yard, personally, I would just sacrifice one and look for the bullseye. If you bought them for hatching, I'd take a chance and set them. After 5 days or so, you can candle and look for vein development.
