Ko Shamo & Bantam Asil lockdown day?

Those are some really pretty birds! I was actually looking at his listing a couple days ago, but I'm in Texas and that's a long way for eggs to travel through the mail. I was going to message him and see if he'll still have eggs, or chicks available next month. I drive up to Michigan every spring/summer to visit family, and thought I could meet up with him on my way back and pick some up. I'd love to see pics of your little ones!!

He offered me to buy the Special Handling addon, & they got to me in one day. He has more birds then the ones he pictured.

My chick's are Silver Wheaten, Blue Wheaten, & Khaki.

I contacted that breeder you mentioned...super great guy! I'm planning to meet up with him when I head up to Michigan in a month or so. He's literally right along my trip route. He has some 10+ week birds that I'm considering getting from him. I think they'd travel far better than eggs or brooder chicks. He sure has some beautiful birds! Super excited!! Lockdown day is Tuesday for my current Malay eggs... down to four viables, as of yesterday. Praying they hatch!!

I'm so nervous. You'd think this is my first go-round at hatching! Then again, I suppose it is for this particular breed. I've wanted these for so long, so the anticipation is doing me in. Shipped eggs are such a gamble, I began with 8, and cringe every time I have to pull a dud or a quitter.

Just had 4 Asil & shamo eggs hatch out of 24 from eBay. Not great success rate but better than nothing! Where are you based by the way?

I am pretty sure that you would lock them down on day 18 as usual.

I have never done games. But I can't imagine that they would be different.

Lock down would be at 18th day most definitely, I am by far a know it all but have been incubating all kinds of breeds for 8yrs.i love Bantam chicks so tiny and cute. My grandson has a few show Bantam that I finally convinced him last year to move outside, in the promise I would buy a coop they would stay clean and still be show quality ,with covid he hasn't been able to show, oh and the coop needed to be close to the farm house like your peacocks Nanna lol
