I would like to purchase 1 hen as a companion for my Polish Rooster who lost his mate. This will be a pet. Will you please let me know your availability of hens? Color isn't terribly important to me.

I would love a wheaten hen. After looking thru this forum and scouring the internet, I don't see a lot of info on Ko Shamo really, so I have just a couple questions:

1. Are the hens aggressive? I know the roos are. If I need to house this Ko Shamo hen in a large pen with other chickens, would there be a problem?

2. How cold tolerant are they? I have silkies and polish, and bring them inside when the temps hover around 20 degrees Fahrenheit. Can I treat a Ko Shamo hen similarly?

same wiv me ive got 1 malay roo, 2 ko shamo roos, and 2 ko shamo hens, plus another 8 shamos which stil are chicks.ive got 3 younger welsummers and i dont no if theyll be nice to each other

Adding new birds to a group of ko's could be a challenge. It would be easier to add a ko to a group of other birds. All birds are different and can react differently.
