I'm on the fence if my Dominique is a hen or roo. She is in the first two pics. Her tail is somewhat curling. The 3rd picture is of my Dominique roo who is the same age for comparison.

She’s a pullet. And she’s a barred rock, not a Dominique.

First one is a pullet, though she has the wrong comb for a Dominique. Your cockerel is a Dominique though as he has a rose comb. The pullet could also be out of Dominique stock but has the wrong comb. Which is very common with hatchery type Dominiques. Its also common with hatchery type Wyandottes.

Thank you so much everyone!! My oldest son will be so happy we have a barred rock!! We lost our only one a little over a month ago and he has been so sad. He'll be happy knowing we got slipped a BR with our other Dominiques! Such good news for us
