Renee, I had a few Konza hatch-- how do I tell the Konza from the one chocolate that hatched?? The chicks are pale yellow or dark, almost a black but not quite.

That would be great!! I need to shut off the incubator soon.As they lose their fuzz and get their first feathers, the chocolate should be apparent. There will be a clean or laced color to the chocolate, whereas the Konzas will have no clean chocolate brown among them. Are you ready for another batch of eggs? I wanted you to have more than a few!!
The pale yellow are certainly Konzas.
Let me know. I'll ship out again.
Hola! I am in Kansas, and yes, heat tolerance for the brutal humid triple-digits is a must!
I have 3 'sons-of-Moby' growing out right now in nearly grown birds, and they are magnificent. I'm getting eggs again, after a mild bout of broodiness. I also have at least 4 pairs in the under 10 week set.
I'm selling the older trios for $100, and will ship. I'm NPIP certified so they'll come with papers.
On the younger sets, I'm doing pairs for $50.
I've decided to sell Moby, too- but haven't decided on the price. He's got bumblefoot, too, so I'm working on that. GIANT FEET. He's goofy
Quote: I'm going to let the Moby contribution settle out of the girls for a week or so- I want to send you birds whom we're sure are from this particular roo, as he has a perfect smooth patch for a comb! He's nearly as large, but I think of a meatier build than Moby...I should call him Marble!!
I'll ship beginning of next week, I anticipate.
