Kosher slaughter in New England/New York?

I have backyard hens that I keep for eggs, and I'm thinking about raising a few birds for meat. I would like to discuss kosher slaughter with someone in New England/New York who might be willing to teach shechitah to someone who is an ordained rabbi but who does not have kabbalah in shechitah.
