Hello! Got stung by the chicken bug a few months ago and after looking all over Kuwait to find the chicken breeds I wanted to no avail, I ended up ordering 30 hatching eggs from a Turkish instagram account who has sold to people in Kuwait before.
I ordered the following:
6- Lavender Ameraucana
6- Black Copper Marans
6- Cream Legbars
6- Blue Laced Red Wyandotte’s
6- Black Australorps
Soon after I made the purchase I ended up buying an Rcom max50 incubator, a couple weeks later, a candling light.
I decided to setup the incubator at the companies recommended settings of 37.5 deg C (99.5 f) at a humidity of 45% for the first 18 days with hourly turning.
5 days after I made the order for the eggs, they had arrived, so I hurredly placed them into the incubator to let it begin to do its magic.

Yea I'm keeping a watchful eye on them checking on them every few hours, I have the luxury of being able to work from home and the chicks are literally on the other side of the wall from me. Already had to "help" one of the little ones today because they are at the point of where they are just learning to jump and stretch their wings, and he/she ended up getting chased around by my two hens. I heard the distress chirps and got the chick back with its flock within 10 seconds.
