Hello everyone. My 4 hens were showing symptoms of Mycoplasma, so I decided to inject them with LA 200 that a friend said he'd share with me. I injected them once then again in 2 days and again in another 2 days for a total of 3 injections with 1 CC each time. They are doing great and laying like crazy. After the fact, now I am reading that LA 200 is not to be used in laying hens. So my questions is when can I eat the eggs? I feel bad having to throw away so many eggs after waiting so long for them to start laying. Any advice?

Sorry i don't know for sure but most meds are 14 to 21 days and don't feed the eggs back to the chickens or your just prolonging it. you might find a vet who could tell you.

Thanks Miss Lydia, glad you told me about the eggs. Feeding them back to them would technically be putting the medicine residues and maybe even the disease back into them. Hadn't thought about it from that perspective. I guess even if the eggs were cooked there would be medicine in them.
