I have La Fleche that hatched 2.5 weeks ago. I have Appenzeller Spitzhauben that hatched 2 days before them that have V combs developing already. All 6 of the La Fleche only have tiny little bumps, does this mean they are all pullets [IMG] Is it just too soon still? Anyone with La Fleche chick experience??

Never had them but I'd not hold my breath on them all being girls at 2.5 weeks old. I know I can pick out all my leghorn boys at a week old, and can divide them all out for sure at 2 weeks. But for my others, I wait till 6 weeks, even if they are single comb types.

Oh, I am not holding my breath for all girls, am actually hoping for at least 2 roos which is why they will all be pullets, with my luck [IMG] .
