Has anyone here ever caponized their extra male chicks? I've read that La Fleche are traditional breed to caponize. Just curious how it works out and would love to see a pic of a grown capon.

Has anyone ever seen blue la fleche? I saw a pair of blue bantam la fleche at a 4H event on Friday, and now I am obsessed with finding some large breed ones. (I may even settle for bantams next year, if my search doesn't get results). Anyone have any leads?

Yes, I am interested in large fowl blacks. Actually, I had three hatch from purchased eggs about a month ago. At this point, I'm not entirely sure I received true purebred la fleche... their little combs do not look right. So, next spring, I may be in the market for more la fleche eggs to hatch.
