I finally found some thanks to my favorite Chicken Buddy!!!
A young quad of them, pure Urch line too! Plus 8 hatching eggs! Poor things look a little rough right now but still big and healthy,
I am going to shine them up in the morning for a photo shoot. I am so excited!

Ok I have been cleaning the barn all day and I am tired. I am also just about finished with the Lafleche pen. (YAY!!) Then I will be able to clean them up and take some more pictures. They are still in quarantine right now so I am giving them a bath and chicken spa treatment when they come out. Yeah, I am a nerd like that.

I have decided that since they Lafleche are laying so great. (2-3 everyday) I am going to share some, I am listing them on the sale page.

I would love to hatch them all but I am real busy with my marans and already have a gob of chicks out.

Hi all La Fleche lovers. I've had my La Fleche for years. I'm so excited. My boy (rooster) just won BB and Reserve Continental at the Lucasville, Ohio show. He won BB at the Ohio Nationals last year. He's a handsom boy and his girls are beautiful too. I'll try and post some pictures soon. The pictures my husband took at the show aren't very good. He was tired. I have lots of babies running around. I'm holding on to them for now. I will sell some eggs once their laying pick up.

Me. I can't wait til' the Ohio Nationals. I'll bring alot of these beauties.

Oh yes, he is a very Handsome boy indeed. I almost traded him for my BC MArans roo hoping you wouldn't notice......Oh yes we are Gonna ROCK the Nationals!!! I may just take more birds than you!! I am thinking about 30 this time Hopefully some of these Lafleche chicks will be good to go too!!

My chicks are all coming along great. They are very helathy and lively. I hope those little roos have a headset as nice as their PAPA!!



My roo is better too. I have been letting him run loose right now it seems to make him happy. He is very friendly. Here he is all better after his ear infection...

He is such a pretty boy. I'm glad his ear is doing better. Your new chicks should be ready to show by Nationals. All of mine look real good. Yours should look really good with the correct headset.

This is my unrelated pair of La Fleche...the rooster is 6 months old now but shows no interest in the hen at all, he is a big bird but seems slow to develop....the hen is a few months older and laying, wish he would get with it.......................................................chrisf

He is so cute. You can tell he is very young but he still has a nice full breast and tail!!

The hen is very pretty too I like her profile a lot. That is one of my favorite things about these Lafleche.

Mine are doing much better I have them in a huge outdoor pen together. The hens have stopped laying for now, I hope they pick up soon.

I still need to clean them up for their picture day. I have been too busy fending off foxes this week.
