LA Wildfire Chicken Rescue Update- 1 year later

Hi All!

This story was posted in the news a year ago about two reporters that helped save a woman's flock in the LA wildfires. It was so heartwarming to me that these two strangers would help rescue a flock of chickens and ducks by getting them out of harms way and into the arms of their owner.

They just did a one year anniversary retrospective piece on CBS- and I wanted to share it with you all.

Heaven has a special place for those that help animals- especially our feathered friends as they are all God's creatures!

I can't get over them thinking of stuffing the saved birds into the wheeled recycling bin. What a great method of emergency evacuation for terrified birds!

I missed this story last year when it happened, but am so happy to see this follow-up. Goes to show, anybody can save a life! Glad it has a happy ending!
