Labeling the Chicks? Help!!!! Tumbleweed is getting lost in the crowd!

how long will the coloring last on their feathers I wonder...

and what about the dark ones... maybe I won't have to label any dark ones this time....

I use pigion bands ( snap-on marker bands ) From Foy's there reuseable and come in a lot of colors, the small one's work great for chicks

We used nailpolish on our puppies when needed... and I know some use this method for chicks too... but I was hoping for something a little lower maintanence or perhaps faster and needs updating less often

I am currently using the human version of the vet tape. I do like the idea of the ties as well. I have a lot of those. I will stay away from the bright colored ones.

We now how 5 little fur balls and 4 more pipping. We have nine more eggs that haven't done anything yet and we are on day 22.
