Laboro Incubator

My local school told me they had an incubator they didnt need any more- I said I'd take it but it wasnt quite what I expected.
As far as I can work out it is an old Laboro laboratory incubator - used for incubating biological specimens.
As it has an extremely accurate temp control I wonder if it would successfully incubate eggs with a few modifications?
Has anyone had any experience using such an incubator?

I would guess you can but I'd clean the whole thing out with 90% or higher alcohol ('rubbing') first and let it air out.

It'll likely need vents, otherwise check the thermostat to see the max and min available settings and if the heat is produced from the bottom or all over.

It looks wonderful, but it will need at least a 1 inch vent hole in the bottom, I would use a small computer fan in it, but that's your call.
