Lacing on Golden Comets

A half dozen or so of my GCs have lacing, but I have never heard of laced Leghorns or RIRs. Could they maybe be mixed with something else (Wyandotte, for example)?

Just wondering. They are pretty so it made me wonder. Thanks!

I don't think Golden Comet is a registered name, so it can be used for various mixes. I know I have seen ads for penciled Golden Comets where people or hatchery was breeding their own. Commercial hatchery sex links are usually a mix of 2-4 parent strains, with various breeds in the background.
