Birch Run & Portage Girl - Thanks - I am a fairly young grandma (43 now). I had my oldest when I was 18 and then she had Peyton when she was 21, so I was only 39 when I became a grandma. I still have my younger two DDs at home - 15 & 16 years old.
I had so much lettuce that had already come up from seed, I don't know why I felt the need to add more lettuce plants, but buying plants from the nursery is always fun. We also had carrots, peas, strawberries, & peppers growing in the other part of the garden. These were planted in the fall and grew all through the winter - no snow here.
Lots of great pictures - It's fun to see the hobbies & faces of the other BYC members.
