I can't see the color of the eyes but that's a first year male I have a bunch just like it ! My lady's are very friendly they will get on your arm any time !

Looking for some reeves pheasant. I bought the last of my buddy's chicks and they turned out to be 4 males and he's been sold his breeders so if anyone has a hen of two for sale let me know. I'm sorry this is my first post dont know what to do on here

Its a male. You can see the nape starting and the orange feathers in the tail.

Thanks everyone! I'm glad I ended up with a male. They are such beautiful birds! And have very sweet personalities.
His eyes still haven't changed yet... I'll post another pic when they do.

They should already be a cream color,long before now.

You have a male bird there for sure. You can see the white developing in his cape, the tear drop starting to come in, and the green back and tail color. I've had a lot of 16-18 week old Amherst males that are slow to gain their eye color. Looks like a real nice bird.
