Try calling Benny at Benny G's Farm Supply in Delcambre. Not sure if they have what you want, but I do know their feed is very fresh. Give them a buzz:

I have a pair of Red Goldens, about 4 1/2 months old. I'm giving mine treats of apples, zucchini and tomatoes because that's what's in season right now. They won't eat it if they don't like it but they seem to enjoy most of what I've offered them. Melons, apples, stone fruits, berries they enjoy I've found. Also shredded carrots, beets, cabbage, zucchini, tomatoes... I also give them dandelion, clover and grass greens daily. I feed them Purina Game Bird Flight Conditioner. "A 19 %-protein ration to stimulate growth and feathering in birds 6 to 16 weeks of age."

Thanks to all for the suggestions on the ornamental pheasant feed and treats. I was suprised at some of the fruits and vegatables that you give to your birds. And "harvobro", I will try out Benny Gees Farm and Supply store in Delcambre, LA for the pheasant feed. It is closer than the Abbeville feed store that I used to go to. (Which is now closed)

My pheasants seem to enjoy fruits and veggies even more than my chickens! They really like clovers. I've heard of people adding Calf Manna to their feed, it boosts the protein among other things. I may try it this winter.
