Hey guys, I found some bug eggs near my garden today and was wondering what species it might be. My mom said squash bugs and they need to be squashed, but I think they might be lady bugs. Any ideas?

While similar in appearance to squash bug eggs, they are not squash bug eggs like we get here ... plus it's really early for squash bugs to be appearing, even in Louisiana. You could put them in a jar and see what hatches. Or do a search for images of lady bug eggs.
