Wow, it's been forever since I've been here. Hello Monsters! Are you all as in love with Applause as I am? I can't stop listening. I have a friend who might take me to see the VMAS ill get to see Applause live!! I'm so excited. Can you guys wait 87 days until ARTPOP? Ugh. Novembers too far away this is one of my all time favorite photos. I'm in love with this look.

I love the Music Video. It's so creative, and so Gaga, but unlike most Gaga videos where you really don't know what the heck is going on most of the time, Applause is WORSE. I don't get how it all ties together or fits with the theme of the song. And I agree. The song itself wasn't as huge or as impacting as Gaga made it out to be leading up to the release. It is missing something. It doesn't have the big message, or as much of a worldwide catchy meaning or tune like the other lead singles did. I'm sorry to say I enjoy Roar just a tad more. But will probably enjoy ARTPOP more than Prism.

The meaning of the song is that she is thanking her fans because she couldn't be where she is now with out them and she is saying she lives for the applause because when she gets the applause people are happy and have enjoyed her performance. As for the music video, note Stefani is in it and one thing in the music video does have meaning, you know when she is carrying a leg up in the air? That is about when she broke her hip.
