Granny's gone and done it again

I find myself ... if DH gets up and walks away and doesn't tell me where he's going, I get a little sad and insecure, a little anxiety. I can't get up and go look for him, or go to the door and holler, Where are you? I feel a little lost without him. Once I am back on my feet I will probably get over it. I hope. Especially now that we put up this privacy curtain. I really feel cut off.
Tell him! He might actually like to know that you don't just rely on his help, but that his actual presence is comforting!

Is that easy to make? Can you use instant potatoes? Wonder if I could figure one out-the veggies.
Waiting for the oven to beep or the fire alarm to go off so thought I'd check in quick and see what was happening.

I don't think it's hard to make. A bit tedious but not hard. Generally, I mix either ground beef or ground turkey with peas and carrots, add chopped onion, a can of mushroom soup, blend, season to taste, toss in a cup of ground cheese, and pour into a casserole dish. Yes, I use the Ore-Ida three cheese instant mashed potatoes that come in the bag. Fix them according to directions, pour them on top of the meat and veggie mix, smooth to cover the filling then sprinkle it with cheese. Bake at 375 until the cheese is golden brown. Cool a bit and serve. We like it. Not fancy but filling.

DH is having problems with fats right now so I made it with ground turkey this time which is how I always eat it. Never tried without veggies but maybe you could do it if you mixed the meat and cheese with the mushroom soup then added the potatoes on top. Might be worth trying.

Sounds delicious

Granny, careful with taxes! I had a rude awakening. I paid my 2025 property taxes in Feb and school taxes in July.i thought I got it all, then this spring I got a late tax fee of $600.
Last year when I thought I paid the school taxes, I had gone on an installment plan and they said I missed 2 installments (also paid 2 installments). Grrrrrr....I always write my plans in my book, I don't know how I did that. My thoughts ....I sure hope the kids are learning allot if the school taxes are that high
