In the Brooder
Hello everyone! Laike Lou Farms consists of my wonderful husband and I, Corrbin Laike and Kelsey Louise. My husband is an active duty soldier in the Army and I work retail, we run a small suburban hobby farm at our home. We just got chickens this spring and currently have around 60 birds. I grew up on a farm and have a bachelor's in animal agriculture but my husband has never been involved in agriculture until now.
We currently have Black Copper Marans, Easter Eggers, Salmon Favorelles, Black Australorps, Rhode Island Reds, Gold Lace Wyandottes, Silver Lace Wyandottes, Blue Laced Red Wyandottes, Barnevelders, Russian Orloffs, and a few others.
In the spring we will be purchasing some show quality birds. We are APA members and acquiring our barnevelder club membership as well. We will be getting NPIP certified in the spring before we bring in our new birds.
My favorites out of all of our birds are our Blue Andalusians, Russian Orloffs, and our Barnevelders. My husband loves our Rhode Island girls and our Russians.
We sell eggs, hatching eggs, chicks, started juvenile birds, laying birds, duck eggs, ducklings, and started ducks locally in Woodlawn, TN
