I stopped in last year expecting to wander around the flea market. Instead of the flea market, it was a poultry show. I looked around at all the birds, big and little, fancy and dull, dumb and really dumb. There were a couple thousand birds, every color of the rainbow. You'll find breeds you never heard of.

Being the first poultry show I ever attended and not knowing a thing about it, how would I enter a bird? What do I need to provide (cage, bedding, feed, papers)? Do I need to be a member of some organization? Is there money in it?

I75 to Lake City US90 exit
head east on US90 for about a mile
turn south onto County 247, aka Branford Highway
-Walgreens and Auto Zone on the corner
head south on 247 for about a 1/4 mile
Columbia County Fairgrounds on the right
park it
headthrough the gate
