This will be my First Poultry show. I cannot wait. I am hoping to buy some bantam cochins and maybe Millie Fleur D'Uccles.

Hey does anyone know what I need to do if I buy something and then go back into Ga? the regulations are long and hard to understand.
I'm going to the Lake City show also- first poultry show- I'm raising
turkeys and am looking for someone who has some blue slate hens and chocolate hens they want to get rid of- I also have turken chicken and polish ones.
I am excited about seeing all the different types of chickens

Cool another Georgian...I am down here in Nashville, close to Valdosta.

I know the regulations say that any birds comming across the Fla/GA line must have a NPIP certificate.

I might be wrong but I think you have to be NPIP to sell birds at the show. Therefore they should be able to give you a certificate...maybe...i dunno...

I am sure some of the BYC experts will clear it up!

I purchased a lovely pair of columbian bantam cochins from Tom Roebuck today.

However, my daughter, who desperately wanted these birds several months ago, is now leaving in May for Counter-Intelligence school for the Army.
