Good Morning Friends! Could you please help me figure out if this hen is actually a hen? This is my first Lakeshore Egger, and given that it is a cross-breed and there is no "standard" for appearance, I am very conflicted about what she/he is. I know it is a bit early to tell - she is only 8 weeks old today, but she sure does act and look like a cockerel. She is the most dominate of the flock, she is a bully, and that comb and those wattles sure are large and bright. What would be saddle feathers are very rounded and not at all pointy, there is no "collar", but her tail feathers are starting to come in somewhat dark and curved. Does anyone have experience with the breed? Does she look like a he? We can't have roos because we are in the city, so I am trying to get a head start on re-homing if it is indeed a he. Thank you in advance for your help and input.

Thank you! I appreciate your input. This is really one of those cases where it couldn't be more obvious, right? Because we can't have roos where we are, I am always in denial for as long as possible about it ;)

Yeah.... Sorry.
There's zero chance of that being a girl.
I have to say, he's super handsome. I hope you can find him a good home.
He has more comb than my year old hens.
Even without knowing the age - he's absolutely a cockerel.
