Kate uttered a small grunt as her head smashed into the wall, she lost her grip on his throat and crumpled to the floor. Her vision swirled in circles around her as she struggled back to her feet.
 
Lark quickly pinned her to the ground "Now the process begins" he smirked
 
Lark ignored her. He began to pump venom into her veins.
 
Kate's muscles tensed, preventing the venom from penetrating very deep. She bit down hard on his leg, ripping a mouthful of flesh away.
 
Lark pressured her neck to the ground tightly as he continued to pump venom into her.
 
Kate's vision began to blacken around the edges as she fought for air, her paws jerking in mid-air.

Suddenly, a white shape cannoned into the side of Lark, knocking him off balance and away from Kate.
 
Lark flew a feet to the right of her
 
Lark stood to his feet lunging at the creature.
