Aiden arrived in Lake Lakia shortly after Thistles did, but instead of entering the House of the Elders, they stayed among the trees in Lake Lakia.
 
Thistles leaned over to the side so that it would be easier for Pacu to get off.
 
Maxine returned to the cave with a load of more fish for Cairo and the rest of the prisoners. Her movements were stiff, and her eyes deeply worried. Obviously Kate wasn't back yet.
 
Emma stayed coiled up, not moving. Rocca was still deeply unconscious. Meanwhile Madara swam in with Nero a few minutes later. "What are we here for?" Nero asked Cairo.
 
"To speak with Kate" Maxine replied before Cairo had a chance to. She shackled Madara and Nero to the wall on the opposide side of the cave.
 
"I wasn't talking to you!" Nero snapped as he was being shackled up by Maxine.

"Nero, shut UP!" Cairo yelled. "Maxine, Kate is out of danger. She's been rescued."

(No he can't, he just senses pulses of energy. That's what his ability is)
Nero grit his beak, holding back his tongue to avoid snapping even further at Maxine.

Maxine stared smugly at him, flicking a few drops of water in his face as she turned "Yeah, but by who?" She replied to Cairo "This wouldn't be the first time she's been 'rescued' by someone else who wanted to kill her."
 
"It wasn't by someone who wanted to kill her. It was Jack." He spat.
