"The corridors are going to be very dark, so the glow will be even more noticable. Use the torches sparingly, but don't waste them; I only have so much wood. And most importantly, DON'T leave any torches behind, burnt out or not; that could end badly."

Jack and Kate sped through the air, winging their way towards the underwater prison. They journey wasn't too long and soon Jack was circling above the hole in the water. "I'll go alone" Kate told him.

"What?" He frowned at her, then stopped, reading her firm expression. "Alright, I'll wait here"

"Thank you" Kate nodded, sliding off his back and into the freezing cold water.

Thistles began ripping the feathers off of her bird as her clones flew away, vanishing. She ate the meat hurriedly, unlike how she normally took her time.

Maxine seen Kate immediatly and swam over to her. She didn't speak, as they were underwater, but knew exactly where Kate was going. She led her down to the dark, underwater prison and let her swam the last few lengths on her own. She slid into the underwater prison, water streaming off her sleek white fur. "Cairo" She said, blinking in the dim light to let her eyes adjust.

She walked with a slight limp, and her body was laced with deep scratches and deep purple bruises. Though they were starting to fade, they still had not vanished completely. What was most obvious about her appearance, however, were the deep puncture wounds below her neck which still hadn't begun healing. Not to mention the nasty wound that stretched across her neck where Lark had slit her throat. But despite the various wounds, her eyes still blazed with the familiar fire that they always did, and her head was held high as she faced Cairo. "I hear you have decided to switch sides" She said, sitting down and wrapping her tail neatly around her paws.

"Okay, eat your fish. We don't have too much time." Thistles urged. "I'm not trying to be rude, I just want to make sure we aren't spotted." Thistles bit into her fish, tearing off strips of cold meat.

"We've come this far we can do this"

"Yes." He replied. "You see, I was just a puppy when I was forced to join Vlad."
