"And what evidence supports that you don't? You've been around her too many times to not know something. I'll let you off scot-free if you give me something, even just a little bit of information that will lead me to the Kate."

"I met her tonight for the first time, just like you did" He snarled back. He seemed agitated and began pacing around the clearing, his muscles tense and his facial expression strained.

"Very well. I'll be having a discussion with her in a few days. I hope that you haven't lied." Cairo said condescendingly, smirking.

"Kate will never be found unless she wants you to find her" He hissed.

"Oh really?" Cairo asked. "We'll find out about that later." He then jumped back off the ledge with a thud and charged into his room. Noss flew down from a roost to speak to Vlad and Jack. "Sorry that you guys have to see him like this. He's very frustrated that he let Kate get away. Once he talks to Kate, and hopefully just talking, he'll be out of this mood."

Jack looked coldly at Noss "Kate will never talk to him" He said bitterly.

"To be honest he just wants to make sure she didn't leak any information to the enemy. If she's leaked information he's going to try and kill her."

Jack looked Noss in the eye "Kate is the enemy. You have no idea what she's capable of."
