The brothers tied Jacks paws together, then Ranik and Amadar spit out Jack's paws.

They instead bit into Jack's wings, hindering any flight. Then they flew with him to Vlad.

"My liege!" Kenai and Hellus called.

Jack still struggled, refusing to give up. He snapped his jaws at anything that came close enough for him to bite.

Jakis held Jack's head while Ranik placed a muzzle on him (Jack).

Jack jerked his head back before they could fasten the muzzle and savagely bit Jakis's paw, feeling the bones crush in his jaws.

Jakis snarled at the pain, then bit Jack's nose and ears.

Jack mumbled a yelp, but didn't let go of Jakis's paw. He twisted the broken bones mercilessly.

Kenai tore into the scruff of Jack's neck, forcing him (Jack) to open his mouth.

Jack finally let go, snarling like a bear.

Ranik picked up Jakis and took him to the healer.

"My liege!" Hellus called again, after buckling the muzzle on Jack's face.
