Kovi and Daru walked back to Lakia, searching for the ones that Kinah had talked about.

(I thought it would make things more interesting is all. And are they in the arctic?)

Thistles flicked her ears around. "I hear someone coming."

"Who is it?" Gina asked, temporarily redirecting her attention from Jack.

"I don't know, but I'm going to go check it out." Thistles replied.

"I'll go too." Stephen offered. Thistles nodded and walked outside the cave along wth him. Mark watched for a moment before following them as well.

Kovi and Daru's white fur hid them in the snow.

"I know you're there." Thistles called out. "We aren't going to hurt you, just come out."

Kovi touched the stone on his necklace and they became visible.

"I am Kovi, of the Head Council. And this is my mate Daru, also of the Head Council.'' He called to them.

Thistles, Stephen, and Mark walked closer. "So you're fighting for Lakia?"
