She gave him a quick nod before walking into the room and closing the door behind her. Voices quickly could be heard outside, though it was impossible to figure out what they were saying with the door closed.
 
The voices behind the door continued arguing on for hours. It was clear that they were having a very heated debate.

A few hours later the door opened, and Gina walked out. "No one on either team agrees with letting you live, Mitar. If it wasn't for Sandra Leafe's wings would be permanently damaged, and she likely wouldn't ever have been able to fly again. Lou's paw is also internally damaged; he's likely going to be lame on that leg for the next year and is probably never going to be the same again. Though, we've reached a consensus. Find Lark, and bring him to me." She said solemnly.
 
"Please do." She said, sitting down and curling her tail neatly around her front paws. "You will earn my trust then."
 
"Leafe! Cairo!" Gina called, summoning the reptile and the lab into the room. "Cairo is going to connect your minds together. I don't want you trying any funny stuff."
