He realized when a giant shadow covered him from above, that the seals, and him, were now the prey...

...or was he? The shadow passed over him and continued towards the seals; but halfway there, it turned around and started back towards HIM! Then, the thing that had been casting the shadow landed about 15 feet in front of him. It was a light-blue DRAGON; and a big one at that, at least 20 feet tall and 35 feet long. Rocky was about to break down crying when a smile came to the dragon's face. Rocky finally got some courage and asked "who...who are you?" The dragon answered "I am Rachael, your Guardian; and you, young Rocky...", extending one claw and gently touching him on the chest, "...are the chosen one."

We currently don't have dragons available because they are linked back to the House of the Elders. However, I do like the guardian idea. Is there another species you could use?
 
Mali brushed her tail over her sleeping pups.
"Mali, can I come in?" Fuego asked. "Not enough room." She laughs. "Fine. I'll protect you from the outside." Mali noticed Vascala. "Stay here." She came out. "Vascala! What are you doing, flying in the supposedly Sacred Skies?" Mali called.
 
Valasca swooped down ever so gracefully. "I fly to make sure balance is upheld in my kingdom. I will not have anyone soar here who has not earned this honor."
 
Valasca stepped into the den "I am not like the other guardians. I abide by strict ancient customs that shall not be mocked"
