Lakia (RPG) ***Upcoming Plot twist.

Snarling, Kate jerked back at the last second. The creatures claws sliced through her neck, but not deep enough to do a lot of damage. She leaped nimbly to the side, her tail lashing from side the side.

"Seems to be an improvement" It said mockingly.

"Why don't you go crawl back under the rock you came out of." She hissed.

"Nah. Why should I?"

"Because you'd be doing me, and anyone else that has to look at you, a favor." She sneered, only half paying attention to their conversation as her eyes scanned the cave, looking for a way out.

The creature's eyes glowed brightly as it charged her, smashing its head into her ribcage. The force knocked her a few yards away, right into the wall and knocking the wind out of her. A cloud of pitch black smoke began to crawl into the cave.

Kate gasped for breath, her chest heaving as she fought to regain her breath. "Go ahead" She panted "Kill me."

"With pleasure" It laughed "As soon as you've watched your precious Jack die." The stinging smoke began to thicken, making it harder and harder to see.

Kate shook her head, blinking her to clear her vision and see through the cloud "You will never hurt Jack like you did me."
