Lakia (RPG) ***Upcoming Plot twist.

"How could you possibly believe your helping Lakia?"

"Lakia's citizens are running hog-wild. Its time there were some boundaries, rules, and structure around here!"

"Shouldn't the citizens decide their fate" He roared

"And let them continue their rein of terror? I don't think so!"

A deep silence had settled in the small cave where Kate's team was gathered "A great darkness has fallen upon us." Evander murmured, his eyes half closed as he sensed what was going on in other places "I fear that soon, the dark side will be more powerful then ever."

"But thats impossible!" Sara protested "What about the Guardians? They are supposed to protect Lakia!"

"The Guardians turned on Lakia a long time ago" Maria growled "After we risked so much to free Pacu from the prison."

"Their numbers are growing." Evander said quietly, hating to be there bearer of such bad news "Much has changed since this war started."

Kate shook her head "No." She spoke for the first time since the discussion has started "It is the same war, only with different people. Our goals have always been the same."

"True" Aiden agreed "But what is their left to fight for? The Guardians are gone, most of Lakia has joined the dark side anyways."

"Are you saying we should just give up and let them win without a fight?" Sara growled.

Aiden lowered his eyes and said nothing.

"We cannot give up just yet." Kate declared "Not while they have Jack captive, I will not leave him for the Smokewolf to feed upon like he did me."

"Reid," Kate turned to the young fox "You stand the best chance of breaking into the Smokewolf's prison unnoticed as any of us. Go, today and see what you can do to free Jack. The Smokewolf doesn't know you, or what your powers are so he will not know what to expect. Be quick and be silent, Grace and Garette will back you up."

Reid nodded, his nervousness washed away with desire to prove himself to Kate "It will be done, Kate." He dipped his head and vanished out the tunnel, Grace and Garette were waiting for him at the top and the tree left together.

Reid slunk through the snow on his way to the prison, keeping low and out of sight, his snow white fur blending in perfectly to the snow. Grace and Garette had left about halfway there, he wasn't sure where they were but he didn't think they were far.
