"It can get pretty boring around the canyon, you know? Us soldiers of the smokewolf enjoy ourselves by... playing around with other creatures." She laughed "What can I say? Times are tough, and Kinah was the easiest catch, considering he just waltzed right on up."

Aiden quickly explained what he had learned to Grace, Manex and Sam, their expressions darkening as he spoke. "We'll go see what we can find." Sam said, nodding to Aiden.

"Grace and Manex you stay here and hold the fort." Aiden ordered.

Once everything was agreed, Sam and Aiden left for the cave.

Julia and Emily led her to a small room that branched off the main cave. Jack, Grace, Maria and Manex were inside waited for them. Once inside, Julia shut the door. "Gylfie" Jack greeted her when everyone was settled. "I receieved some disturbing news today, I hope that you'll be able to explain some things to me." His voice was pleasant, and almost fakely polite.

"Huh?" Gylfie asked, cocking her head to the side.

"We spoke with the hares this afternoon," he said casually "And they told me that your friend, Amber, was not rescued by them the other night. Which is funny because I remember quite clearly you telling us the other night that she was taken by the hares." He rose to his paws and padded closer to her, so that his face was very close to hers "Care to tell me another lie?"
