Mali noticed Kovi and walked over. "Kovi?" Then a flash of an owl flared in front of her eyes. "Vlad." she whispers. "Kovi! Come with me, I need you right now!"
Then she saw an image of her pups, crying out. "Kovi, please come!" And she ran in the direction of her den.

Then she saw an image of her pups, crying out. "Kovi, please come!" And she ran in the direction of her den.

They are far away from the dens... trapped in a known place.

Mali came to her den. It was empty. "Oh no..." Tears formed in her eyes. "No, no, no, no!" She cried out. "This cannot be!" She cried, tipping her head back and howling.

Kovi heard her in his mind. "Gaaaaahhhhh!!!!!!!" He yelled, holding his head he dropped to his knees.

"You can go back, take care of Daru and the pups" Maria said gently.

"Mali's pups are gone!!!!!!!!" He yelled, still holding his head.

"Leader! Howler, Hunter, Spirit!" She cried, her tears staining her fur. "My pups! They're gone!" Her tears suddenly turned to rage. "You will pay, Vlad!" She roared, her eyes turning red. "You. Will. PAY!" She thunders. And she lets out a howl with a tint of a growl in her throat, then disappears.
"Vlad!" She cried, at the entry of a cave. "Vlad!" she called.
