The Owl moved further away with another hiss, moving onto a thinner branch.

Vlad inched farther out "Come on now!" he snarled swatting at the owl

 

[HollyBird24]

The Owl jumped further out with a hoot of alarm as Vlad's claws raked through his feathers, though not breaking the skin.

The Osprey watched from across the clearing.

"This owl is quite the Pest" Vlad thought

The Owl hooted again, as though daring him to come closer.

Vlad made a fierce swipe at the owl

As his weight shifted, the branch snapped, sending both the Owl and Vlad tumbling from the branch. The Owl spread his wings and dove, skimming a few feet above the ground before liftingup again.

"Ouch!" Vlad roared

The Owl laughed as he landed before the Osprey.
