Thistles turned her head around and waved her left talon, smiling as she flew.

"Hopefully she can help us put a end to this war" Pacu thought

A few miles south later Thistles began to circle around, looking for some food.

Thistles caught sight of a few arctic hares and dove down, killing one almost instantly with her weight and the speed she was going at. She grabbed it with her left talon and took back off to the skies, eating it along the way with her right talon. It tasted like carrion instead of the juicy, salty flavor that she preferred, but she hadn't eaten in so long she didn't care.

Soon the gryphon landed a few feet away from Pacu, along with 2 others appearing seemingly out of nowhere. "Uh, hello."
