"I'll stick around for now, but if there is even the slightest conflict among us I will search for a new civilization." Thistles concluded, snapping the hare's foot off of the leg and digging into its thigh. Ripping the skin and fur off she placed the scrap of meat into her beak and swallowed as the meat melted in her mouth. A nearby scavenger landed a few feet away from Pacu and Thistles.

"No problem. Want some of this meat?" Thistles asked, offering a skinned thigh of the rabbit's other back leg.
 
"Here, you can have all of it; hares aren't too hard to hunt. Don't eat the ears though, they taste like mud and carrion." Thistles handed Pacu the hare and its back limb with her left talon, smiling.
 
"Its the least I can do. Just look out for that raven." Thistles warned, watching the scavenger out of the corner of her eye. "He'll steal it if he gets the chance."
 
"Thank you for the heads up" "I'll make sure he stays away" "Is there anything you need?"
 
"No, but thank you." Thistles replied, smiling. "I'm going to get some more hares to take with us; I'll be right back." She took back off into the skies, back south where the hares were.
