"Thank you" She called out, waving her right talon and smiling. The scavenger meanwhile inched further and further towards the dead hare, looking to steal the meat.
 
Pacu continued to eat his Hare. "Quite tasty"
 
Thistles caught sight of 5 hares on the ground, near their underground holes. She circled around for a moment, waiting for the perfect moment to strike.
 
"This is quite chewy" He thought

Pacu quickly clawed the bird away. "My meat birdie" "Wait your turn"

The scavenger dropped the foot and scowled, but sat down and waited for Pacu to either turn his back on the food or finish it off.

Pacu ripped of a small piece. "There, you can have this"

Thistles dove down on 2 hares, killing them upon impact. The others quickly ran away in an attempt to save their skin, but Thistles quickly pounced upon the remaining 3. She smiled at her minor achievement and picked up the 5 hares, 2 in the left talon and 3 in the right talon. She flew back north to where Pacu and the scavenger where to bring the food back.

The scavenger looked in surprise at the meat, then at Pacu. After a few seconds he picked it up with his beak and flew off, satisfied.
