"Yes, but we need enough to hold us for before we take flight, before we infiltrate the base, and after the mission is over. We'll need a little bit more food before we can have both enough to feed both of us and to have enough to stretch across the time we're going to be there." Just then a swarm of birds flew overhead. "I'll go get a few of them; that should suffice." She smiled as she took off after the birds.
 
Despite her wet feathers Thistles was able to fly quite quickly and caught the entire flock of birds within minutes. With 3 birds in her left talon, 4 in the other, and 2 in her beak she flew back to Pacu and dropped her kill. "There; that should be more than enough. We can start feasting now; just be sure to save some." She said smiling.

"Oh okay. But if you get hungry, eat as much as you'd like." She replied, holding a bird in her right talon while plucking its feathers off with her left talon.

"I don't know how long it'll take to get there; I've only been in Lakia for a few days now and even then I've only been in the arctic. Where is your base, how many miles away is it from here, and does it have a name?"
