"If I get fatally wounded... I am to only die by your claws. I refuse to die by the enemy's filthy hands." She replied, turning her head to make eye contact with him while ignoring the bird in her talon.

"I'm.....I'm not sure I could go through with it"

"Why not?"

"I'm not sure I am strong enough"

"I'm not sure I am strong enough"

"What do you mean? All it will take is a quick tear of the main artery in my neck. I would die within 30 seconds at the maximum"

"Pacu, I'd rather die by a friend and go out with at least some honor than be killed like mere prey by the enemy, be forgotten, and have no honor." Thistles replied, placing a talon on Pacu's shoulder in an attempt to comfort him.
